Before the number, there was the shape.
The zero is the only digit that represents both nothing and infinity — a boundary and an open door at once.
zz0zz does not decorate. We isolate. Each object is an exercise in subtraction, reduced until only the essential form remains.

Excavated, not manufactured.
Material
Volcanic obsidian from Mount Etna. Full-grain leather from a single tannery in Tuscany. Nothing synthetic. Nothing borrowed from another purpose.
Process
Forty-seven days from raw material to object. No assembly lines. One artisan per piece, from first cut to final polish.
Packaging
A black cube. A circular cutout. No foam, no plastic. The object sits in a bed of volcanic ash, exactly as it was found.

Every zz0zz object reads the same from every angle. That is not design. That is discipline. A single flaw, hidden or visible, is still a flaw. We would rather make one object correctly than a thousand quickly.
